This Policy explains how Appliance Techline handles personal information, Company-scoped information, case records, billing data, verification information, and security data.
This Privacy Policy explains how CService Appliance Repair, Inc. collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information in connection with Appliance Techline. Central Identity may support account, role, profile, company membership, authentication, and verification functions across CService-operated services, including TechVentory and cserviceappliancerepair.com. Product-specific case, billing, and marketplace data are not automatically shared across products merely because they use Central Identity.
CService Appliance Repair, Inc., a California corporation, operates Appliance Techline. Our principal and mailing address is 12051 World Trade Dr, Unit 1, San Diego, CA 92128. Privacy requests, legal notices, and support inquiries may be sent to info@csdcca.com. We do not publish a general business telephone number for privacy requests at this time.
For information handled by Appliance Techline for its own business purposes, CService Appliance Repair, Inc. determines the purposes and means of processing as applicable. An Organization using a Company Account may separately determine how it uses Company-scoped data for employment, supervision, training, or internal business purposes. Privacy rights and obligations may vary depending on the data, relationship, location, and applicable law.
We may collect identifiers and contact information; account, role, profile, company membership, authentication, and security information; professional and verification information; support-case content; appliance and worksite information; files, photos, videos, notes, messages, and ratings; call and live-video metadata; billing, Wallet, budget, payment, refund, and chargeback records; device, log, cookie, and session information; and information created through support, safety, fraud, quality, or legal reviews.
Central Identity information may include name, email, phone when provided, account ID, profile information, role, Company Account membership, invitation status, authentication factors, login records, and verification status. Mandatory TOTP MFA data and session information are used to secure accounts. We do not disclose authentication secrets to Company Account administrators.
Company Account information may include organization identity, Owner and Manager roles, roster membership, budgets, Company Wallet activity, Company-scoped cases, spending, statistics, complaints, incidents, ratings, and authorized exports. Company Owner and Manager may see Company-scoped work information even when a Technician used a personal payment source for that Company-scoped case, but they do not receive the Technician's Personal Wallet balance, full payment credentials, identity-verification documents, or unrelated private activity merely because of Company membership.
Support-case information may include case number, appliance type, brand, model, serial or part information, symptoms, repair history, measurements, worksite facts, messages, uploads, Expert notes, status history, routing, consultation events, follow-up activity, complaints, ratings, safety events, and billing records. Users should submit only information reasonably necessary for professional support and should avoid unnecessary customer or household personal information.
Voice calls may be routed through RC and one-way live video may be provided through LiveKit. We may process call identifiers, routing, timestamps, duration, connection events, and technical metadata. Appliance Techline does not currently record platform voice calls or live video. Users are prohibited from undisclosed recording or screenshots. If recording, transcription, or AI summaries are introduced later, we will provide notice and obtain any consent required by law before using those features.
Verification information may include professional licenses or certifications, EPA Section 608 credentials, insurance or business documents, and related status or expiration data. Do not submit documents unless requested. Access to sensitive verification records is restricted to authorized roles and legitimate purposes. Verification status is not a guarantee of identity, competence, insurance, or legal compliance.
Payment and billing information may include Stripe customer and transaction identifiers, amounts, taxes, payment status, receipts, Wallet funding and deductions, balance history, Company budgets, case charges, server-timer records, additional-minute approvals, corrections, refunds, Service Credits, chargebacks, negative balances, and payment-dispute evidence. Full payment-card credentials are handled by payment providers rather than stored as ordinary Appliance Techline case data.
We may process IP address, browser or application type, operating system, device identifiers, cookie or session identifiers, login events, security events, API or error logs, and fraud signals. We use strictly necessary technologies for authentication, security, session continuity, and Service operation. If we deploy non-essential analytics, advertising, or similar technologies that require additional notice or choice, we will provide the controls required by applicable law before using them.
We collect information directly from users; from Company Account Owners and Managers; from Experts and authorized support staff; from Central Identity; from payment, telephony, video, hosting, database, email, and security providers; and from records generated when the Service processes cases, payments, authentication, support, safety, fraud, quality, or legal matters.
We use information to provide and secure accounts; verify roles and qualifications; create and route Support Cases; provide consultation; operate Company Accounts; process Wallets, budgets, payments, refunds, and disputes; maintain records; communicate about the Service; prevent fraud and abuse; investigate safety and security incidents; comply with law; defend claims; improve reliability and quality; and enforce our agreements.
Current AI use in Appliance Techline is limited to supported extraction of suggested structured fields from eligible verification documents when that feature is used. AI-extracted values are suggestions and are not verification; an authorized person must review them before they affect status. Information submitted to an enabled AI feature may be transmitted to OpenAI or another disclosed provider for processing. We do not represent that AI output is error-free. Future diagnostic AI, call transcription, or case-summary features will be governed by additional disclosures before activation.
Company Owner and Manager may access Company-scoped cases and use that information for legitimate supervision, training, quality, performance evaluation, billing, incidents, and analytics. When a Technician leaves, the Company retains access while records are retained; the former Technician has only 90 days of read-only access to that Technician's former Company cases and cannot export the corporate archive. Personal and sensitive information is limited where not necessary for Company purposes. If particular personal data are needed for an authorized Company workflow, we rely on an appropriate lawful basis and any consent required by law.
Experts receive access reasonably necessary for assigned cases and continuity. Customer Support and Super Admin may access case, billing, verification, security, and administrative records when needed for support, refunds, disputes, safety, security, compliance, or enforcement. Access is role-based and should be purpose-limited. Super Admin is a platform role and is separate from Company Account roles.
We may disclose information to service providers and integrations that help operate the Service, such as Supabase and hosting providers, Stripe, RC, LiveKit, OpenAI for enabled AI processing, email or notification providers, security providers, and professional advisors. Each provider may process information under its own contract and legal obligations. We disclose only information reasonably necessary for the relevant function.
We may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process; protect users or the public; investigate fraud, security, abuse, or safety incidents; enforce agreements; handle payment disputes, insurance, or claims; protect rights and property; or complete a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale subject to appropriate protections. We may notify affected users when required and legally permitted.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not currently use Appliance Techline case content for cross-context behavioral advertising. If a future activity constitutes a sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or sensitive-data use subject to an opt-out or limitation right, we will provide the required notice and choice before or when the activity applies.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including active account and service needs, Company historical access, billing and accounting, fraud prevention, safety, security, disputes, legal claims, tax obligations, and legal holds. Different categories may have different retention periods. We may preserve records beyond an ordinary deletion period when required by law, legal process, an active dispute, investigation, insurance matter, or legal hold. When retention is no longer justified, information is deleted, de-identified, or otherwise disposed of according to applicable procedures.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the Service, including mandatory TOTP MFA, server-managed sessions, access controls, role separation, logging, and restricted administrative access. No system is completely secure. Users must protect their credentials and promptly report suspected compromise to info@csdcca.com.
Subject to applicable law and verification of identity, users may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy/export of personal information and may exercise any applicable opt-out or limitation rights. Customer Support receives requests and performs initial identity verification; Super Admin performs the technical search, correction, export, or deletion; Manager / Legal & Compliance handles legal holds, mandatory retention, and other legal exceptions. Requests should be sent to info@csdcca.com.
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and related law, including rights to know/access, delete, correct, receive information about categories and disclosures, opt out of sale or sharing when applicable, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information when applicable, and not receive unlawful discriminatory treatment for exercising rights. We acknowledge qualifying requests within 10 business days and respond to requests to know, delete, or correct within 45 calendar days, subject to a lawful extension of up to an additional 45 days with notice. We may deny or limit a request when an exception applies and will explain the basis when required.
Residents of other jurisdictions may have additional privacy rights. We will honor rights required by law based on the requester's location and relationship to the Service. Appliance Techline is currently offered as a U.S. service, but Experts may work from other locations; employment or contractor data relating to an Expert may therefore be subject to additional local law.
Closing an account does not necessarily result in immediate deletion of every record. We may retain information needed for refunds, Wallet closeout, accounting, fraud prevention, Company history, disputes, legal claims, regulatory duties, legal holds, and other lawful purposes. A departed Company Technician's 90-day read-only case access is an access rule, not the retention period for the underlying Company records.
We may send transactional communications about accounts, authentication, cases, calls, payments, refunds, security, policy changes, and Service operations. Marketing communications, if used, are subject to applicable consent and opt-out rules. Security and essential transactional notices may continue when necessary even if a user opts out of marketing.
The Service is designed for adult professional users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly offer Appliance Techline accounts to minors. Users should not submit unnecessary information about customers, children, household members, or other third parties.
We may update this Policy prospectively. The effective date will identify the current version. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes and obtain any renewed consent required by law before applying a change that requires consent.
Privacy requests and authorized-agent requests should be sent to info@csdcca.com. Legal notices may be sent to the same email and, where physical notice is required, to 12051 World Trade Dr, Unit 1, San Diego, CA 92128. We may require reasonable verification of identity and authority before acting on a request.
If a provision of this Policy cannot be applied as written because of mandatory law, it will be applied to the maximum lawful extent without reducing any non-waivable privacy right. This Policy should be read with the Terms of Service and product-specific agreements that govern the underlying relationship.
